Host Connection Time-Out (pcAnywhere) (All Windows)

If pcAnywhere host does not respond, hang up. This is useful for scripts that call systems where a modem will answer, but the pcAnywhere host may not be running.

Open your registry and find the key below.

Create a new DWORD value, or modify the existing value called 'NonPCAHostTimeout' using the settings below.

Exit your registry, you may need to restart or log out of Windows for the change to take effect.

Settings:
System Key: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Symantec\pcANYWHERE\CurrentVersion\
Remote Control]

Name: NonPCAHostTimeout
Type: REG_DWORD (DWORD Value)
Value: Time in Seconds (0 = Forever)
